Happy Halloween!

I usually don't participate much in Halloween events. I carve a standard jack-o-lantern or two, roast some pumpkin seeds, and hand out candy to the few trick-or-treaters we get at the house. This year I decided to try something slightly different. I've been seeing drilled pumpkins all over the internet these past few weeks and I absolutely loved the idea, so I stole it for myself. On the larger pumpkin I picked a few random sized drill bits and went to town. It reminds me of a piece of swiss cheese! On the smaller pumpkin I tried a kitty face, which I think turned out pretty well even though it's much too cutesy for Halloween. Even Martha jumped on this bandwagon with her Celestial Pumpkins.

I am horrible. I dressed up my a hot dog. She hates me, but is she not adorable in this costume? So funny!

I hope you all have a great night, whether you're dressing up for a party, going trick-or-treating with the family, handing out candy, or turning off the porch light and curling up with a good book!
